What’s Your Daily Homemaking Routine?
We all know that children thrive on routines but did you know you can too? You probably already have a daily routine. A system of habits that you do from day to day. But many times putting this daily schedule to paper can help you track your time and accomplish more. This is especially important if you are a busy mom. Having your daily routine on paper allows you to use those precious brain cells for more important things like taking care of your precious ones. But most anyone can benefit from a daily schedule. Your daily schedule should have your morning habits. The things you do in the morning each day. You afternoon habits such as breaking for lunch, an errand or two. And your evening habits, preparing dinner, quiet time. To get more detailed about it. If you would like your daily routine to help you become more organized at home, make cleaning and organizing a part of your daily habits. For example in the morning after you have gotten up, dressed, had breakfast and done morning care for your children make it a habit to go around your home and pick up put away. Don’t make it overly involved. Quick making of beds (Doing this after breakfast gives the beds time to air), putting away clothes, running a load of laundry. In the afternoon make it a habit to take 15 minutes out of your afternoon to do a cleaning chore in your home. In the evening make it a habit to straighten and tidy before you go to bed each night. And / or make it a habit to set out the breakfast dishes for the morning meal. Now to make this ultra effective write or type it up nice and pretty and post it where you can see it and take action.
